Hands on Training in Animal Tissue Culture
Animal Tissue culture is one of the most widely used laboratory tools available for scientists today. It has propelled major advances in medicine, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. This workshop is a basic entry level course for anyone in science stream who wants to learn tissue culture. Beginning with designing Tissue culture lab ,the course covers theories by eminent faculty of Research background, Hands -on training on Lab safety, Bioethics, Aseptic techniques, Media preparation, Revival, Sub culturing, Cryopreservation of animal cells, Stem cells and Primary cells, Cell counting, Viability determination and Growth curve
Scope of Study
Animal tissue culture techniques will continue to play a pivotal role in biomedical research. Future courses may emphasize advanced applications such as organoid culture, disease modeling, and drug screening using 3D tissue models derived from animal cells.
